中央銀行公布，今年第1季國銀存款平均利率為0.81%、放款利率為2.23%，存放利差下滑至1.42個百分點，創一年來新低。

銀行主管分析，可能與首季適逢農曆春節，民眾資金需求旺盛、活期存款增加明顯，使銀行的平均存款利率略降。

另外，首季放款平均利率為2.23%，較去年第4季下降0.02個百分點。央行官員解釋，存款利率下降，是受到銀行承作較多政府借款的影響。
