新竹市長許明財 再獲4星滿意度

遠見雜誌公布2014年21縣市長施政滿意度，新竹市長許明財再獲4星滿意度，在直轄市或非直轄市的總排名均較去年往上晉昇，特別在教育、環保、警政治安、消防與公共安全、醫療衛生等方面有明顯成長。

許明財特別感謝所有市民的鼓勵與支持，使新竹市在穩定中求發展。不過，他也認為，市府團隊仍有成長空間，必須再加緊腳步，從交通治安年到文化觀光年、低碳健康年、智慧樂活年到幸福平安年，使市民所願、所需皆能落實回應，並與世界接軌，達到幸福宜居城市的願景目標。

在遠見雜誌公布的2014年21縣市長施政滿意度調查結果，許明財在2014的表現與2013都是4星滿意度，2013年的排名分別在直轄市或非直轄市居12與14名，2014年則是前進至第10 及13名，施政分數在排名上也前進2-3名。

在各單項中，進步最多的是環保，從62.4%成長至70.8%，其次是教育從61.2%成長至66.6%，醫療衛生也從65.4%成長至69.7%，其他包括警政治安有2.6%、消防與公共安全也都有3.1% 的成長。
