國際航空運輸協會（IATA）表示，受到經濟增長和燃油價格下降的提振，全球航空公司今年將實現高於預期的創紀錄利潤，明年或還將實現25%的漲幅。

IATA預計，今年全球航空業實現的利潤應會在6月份預期的180億美元基礎上升至199億美元，明年則有望升至250億美元，而2013年全行業的整體利潤僅為106億美元。
