大學指考分發入學明年有重大變革，各系組採計科目由現行最多6科減為5科，影響最大的為第3類組。根據大學考試入學分發委員會統計，今年124個採計6科的系組中，明年共有41個系組不採計物理，33個系組不採計國文。

大學招生委員會聯合會決議，為減輕學生負擔，明年大考分發採計指考成績，由3至6科降為3至5科，影響最大的是包括醫學系在內的不少第3類組科系，原採計「國文、英文、數甲、物理、化學、生物」等6科，明年須放棄其中1科。

根據分發會公布考試分發校系分則資料，全台11所大學醫學系，包括台大醫學系在內的10個醫學系放棄採計國文，僅中山醫學大學改為不採計英文。
