來自美國網路RealGM消息，林書豪對於自己被交易到湖人感到開心而期待，雖然還沒有得到林書豪親口證實，但離開火箭，林書豪得到「解脫」的機會大大增加。

對林書豪來說，重回家鄉加州球隊，進入洛杉磯這個大市場，在湖人光環下打球，並成為布萊恩 (Kobe Bryant)的隊友，這一切都會讓他更舒服、更自在，脫離火箭，林書豪被限制的靈魂終於得到釋放。

詹姆斯 (LeBron James)決定回家，林書豪也意外回家，這林書豪可能是林來瘋另一個起點。
