抗議遭警察列管 賴清德籲避免不必要的查訪

苗栗大埔事件，有部份參與成員遭到警方關切，對此台南市長賴清德在市政會議上表示，南市警察在沒有治安理由前提下，不應該配合警政署或其他縣市警察局的要求，進行這種擾民及可能侵害人權的訪問。

苗栗大埔事件引發的公民抗議活動後，陸續有媒體報導，參與的成員疑似遭到苗栗警方「列管」，並請戶籍地警察局派員前往家中「訪問」，賴清德在市政會議上指出，台南市警察分局也有此一作為；特別透過市政會議重申，民眾陳情抗爭乃民主社會的常態，如果對於每一位參與者的家庭進行查訪，無異讓台灣民主倒退，況且警力有限，應集中力量在維護治安上，而不是對市民百姓做無謂的干擾。

他希望未來面對類似的要求時，必須有犯罪偵查的必要才可以配合。
