Thomson Reuters報價顯示，土耳其股市3日跳空暴跌10.47%，收76,983.69點、創2月25日以來收盤新低。這是自5月28日以來土國股市第二度出現跳空缺口。過去一年土耳其股市漲幅仍高達38.54%。

英國金融時報部落格報導，土耳其股市3日的重挫創5年來最大單日跌幅。Capital Economics發表報告指出，從新興市場的標準來看，過去10年土國政治局勢堪稱穩定。土國這一波抗議風潮源自於伊斯坦堡的小規模示威，土耳其總理Recep Tayyip Erdogan的大動作鎮壓手法導致動盪局勢蔓延至土國各大城市。

BBC News報導，土國央行為了刺激疲軟的經濟、上個月降息兩碼。土耳其去年經濟成長率僅有2.2%，遠低於2010、2011年的逾8%增長成績。穆迪(Moody`s)上個月調升土耳其債信評等，讓土國在20年來首度取得投資等級的地位。

擁有24萬名會員的公務員工會聯合會(Kesk)已呼籲政府員工展開為期兩天的罷工，以抗議執政黨實施「國家恐怖主義」。美國國務卿凱瑞(John Kerry)3日指責土國警方過度使用武力。

iShares MSCI土耳其可投資市場指數基金(ETF代號：TUR.US)3日跳空大跌8.25%，收63.58美元、為連續第6個交易日收低，創2月25日以來收盤新低。
